Clear Creek-Amana School District - Free Meals

The Clear Creek Amana School District will be offering meals for any families interested starting Monday, March 23 until further notice. The school food service staff and transportation staff will hand out sack lunches along with grab and go breakfast items from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Monday through Friday at designated locations. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

Fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods can help you and your family be healthy and productive. Sometimes these healthy foods are expensive, and families need extra help purchasing them. To see if you are eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), visit www.dhs.iowa.gov/how-to-apply.

If you already receive SNAP, you can now access your account information on the web

Agape Café

The Agape Café will serve free, hot, to-go breakfast from 7:30 - 9:00 am every Wednesday morning at Old Brick (26 E Market Street Iowa City).

UI Food Pantry

The food pantry is a free service available for ANY student, staff, or faculty member at the University of Iowa. There are no financial requirements. There are two food pantry locations. The east pantry is located in room 278 of the Iowa Memorial Union. The west pantry is located at the Pride Alliance Center. The food pantry is open every Wednesday at the east pantry for grocery shopping from 11-7 pm, and open every Sunday at the west pantry for food pick-up from 3-5 pm. In order to access these services, it is necessary to reserve an appointment using an online sign up located on the website linked below. Links can be found below.
